Duo-Gard Adds New Unit Skylights to High-Performance Maximizer Skylight Line

Duo-Gard has expanded its line of high-performance Maximizer skylights with the addition of dome and pyramid units. Both have wide applications for retrofit and new construction.

Maximizer Unit Skylights integrate technologies for high performance in energy efficiency, light distribution and heat transmission. “Our new units round out our Maximizer product line and enable us to provide customers with more economical solutions for translucent daylighting applications that don’t require monumental skylights,” says David Miller, president.

These skylights feature single or double-glazed options in acrylic and polycarbonate, plus thermally broken curb-mount aluminum frames. An optional insert of multiwall polycarbonate is available to enhance energy efficiency. Lumira® Aerogel translucent insulation can also be added. Other options include OSHA-compliant fall protection and security grilles. The products have received Miami-Dade County approval. All Maximizer units ship fully assembled, ready to install.

The new units join previously introduced Maximizer skylights in custom and standard shapes of pyramid, ridge/hip, single-slope and curved.
