Duo-Gard Skylights Bring School Spirit

Duo-Gard loves a local project, these custom skylights are located on Novi High School in Novi Michigan. The aluminum frames were completely prefabricated in our facility then moved by crane to their permanent location. The skylights are glazed with our Series 3100 25mm triple wall polycarbonate, and printed to match the school’s color scheme. Duo-Gard worked very closely with TMP Architecture to create their desired look.

The architect came to Duo-Gard with the vision of having the skylights match the Novi High School green. Using our Achieve 360° resource as a guide, our sales team worked to find an efficient and budget-friendly way to accomplish this, by digitally printing the panels. After the desired color was achieved, we worked with the architect to decide how to best design these skylights according to their specific project’s parameters. We used aluminum framing to reduce weight and increase ease of installation. This approach ensured that the architect’s project vision and goals were met, and Duo-Gard guided them to the most cost-effective solution.
