Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Duo-Gard Industries Inc. ("Duo-Gard," "we," "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide to us, such as when you complete a contact or enquiry form, request a brochure, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include your name, company, email address, phone number, professional role, and any details you include in your message.
We also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and pages viewed. This information is gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
If you accept optional cookies, we additionally receive information about who is visiting our site from a third-party visitor identification service. For visitors in the United States this can include your name and professional details even if you never contact us. This is described in full under Website Visitor Identification below.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the products, services and information you request.
- To communicate with you about your projects, quotes and orders.
- To improve our website, products and customer experience.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Cookies and Analytics
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to run this site — they keep you signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and record your cookie choice. These cannot be turned off.
Everything else is optional, and you accept or decline it as a single choice. That optional category covers:
- Google Analytics — which pages are visited and how people move through the site, so we can improve it.
- Visitor identification — a third-party business-to-business service that tells us which businesses, and for visitors in the United States which individuals, have been on our site. Please read Website Visitor Identification below, because this can involve information about you personally.
Optional cookies, and the third-party scripts that set them, are not loaded at all until you accept them. Declining means those scripts are never requested, so no data — including your IP address — is sent to those providers.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link, also found in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent removes the cookies those providers have set and reloads the page so the change takes effect immediately. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function properly as a result.
Website Visitor Identification
Most visitors to a website are anonymous. If you accept optional cookies, we use a third-party business-to-business visitor identification service to identify some of them, so that our team can follow up on genuine interest in our products. We want to be clear about what that means, because it goes further than ordinary website analytics.
What we may learn about you. Where you are located in the United States and the service is able to match you, the information we receive can include:
- your name and job title;
- your employer and its website domain;
- your industry and the size of your company;
- other professional background details where available; and
- the pages you viewed on our site, and when.
We may receive this even if you never fill in a form or otherwise contact us.
How the match is made. The service combines first- and third-party cookies, device identifiers and your IP address with an identity network that it maintains and that we have no control over. We do not provide it with your name or email address; the match is made on the provider's side and the result is reported to us.
Visitors outside the United States. The service checks the country associated with your IP address and excludes visitors it identifies as being outside the United States from individual identification. For those visits it may still infer the organisation associated with the IP address, which is normally information about a business rather than about you personally. We rely on the provider's controls for this and cannot independently verify every match.
Your control. This is entirely optional and is switched off unless you accept optional cookies — if you decline, the service's script is never loaded and no identification takes place. You can withdraw at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. You may also ask us what information we hold about you and ask us to delete it, and you may ask us to identify the provider we use, using the contact details below.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate our website and business, and only to the extent necessary to perform those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Duo-Gard, our customers, or others.
If you accept optional cookies, information about your visit is transmitted to Google (for analytics) and to our visitor identification provider (as described above), each of which handles that information under its own privacy terms. If you decline, neither service receives anything from your visit.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us using the details below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
